Textured Spiky Hair Styles – How to Avoid Messy Hair!

Textured Spiky Hair Style is an easy and instant way to add texture and body to any type of hair, giving it the “grip” to make it stand out. There are many different types of textured hairstyles but the most popular are the spiked, textured, curly, wild, frizzy, and crazy styles. All these can be worn to work or for a night out on the town and still look great. There are some precautions to take before getting a textured hairstyle, as this can be quite messy. Here we will discuss these and some ways to manage the mess and keep it looks great.

One of the biggest mistakes I see with textured hair that needs a little maintenance is rinsing the hair too soon after the style has been applied. This often results in more hair falling out than desired, which is a huge no. The only exception to this is if the style was applied using a brush and comb, but let’s be honest, even then, it is easier just to wash out the mess. The best thing to do is to let the hair air dry naturally; you could use a hairdryer if you have one available but if not, just blow dry the hair. If the textured hair style is made by adhesives then it is advisable to leave the style on overnight, this will allow the adhesive to work much more freely without causing as much stress to the hair.

Another one of the big mistakes I see people making when trying out different textured hairstyles is to dye their hair in the morning while they are still wet. This causes the hair to become greasy which ruins the effect the style has on the hair. This is one of the reasons why people give spiky hair a French twist – to avoid this problem. Once the hair dries naturally, it looks so much better!
